Welcome to my ePortfolio! My name is Caroline Syms and I’m a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Writing. I’m originally from New Jersey and even though I’ll always have a Jersey girl accent, my family now lives in Arizona, and I’m having a blast adjusting to life on the West Coast.
As I progress through my college years and continue to form new aspirations and goals for the future, my ultimate dream is to establish myself as a writer in the magazine industry. Much of my writing experience throughout my college career has been for Her Campus and Feather Magazines, and I’ve really connected with this type of journalism.
When I’m not writing away a storm, you can find me playing tennis, reading James Patterson novels, cheering on the Wolverines in the Big House, or snuggling with my boxer puppy, Cleopatra.
